Pedestrian Operated Signals

Scope of Works:

  • Site establishment and traffic management
  • Extensive earthworks including saw cutting, bulk excavation and disposal
  • Pavement construction: proof rolling, crushed rock sub-base, and multi-layer asphalt (base, intermediate, and wearing course)
  • Construction of concrete kerb & channel, edge strips, and pedestrian laybacks with tactile indicators
  • Footpath and kerb outstand asphalting
  • Line marking and removal of redundant pavement markings
  • Supply and installation of pedestrian-operated traffic signals
  • Installation of raised reflective pavement markers and new signage
  • Heritage cast iron barriers installed to Council standards
  • Integration of pedestrian bridge crossing and ancillary civil works
